Refrigerator Magnets, NOT!

So after watching Oprah with Nate Berkus and salivating over all of the beautiful make-overs he has done.  Maybe one day that will be me.  While I make my wish list of a new stove, cabinets, paint and more, I can take the refrigerator magnets down.  The only purpose they serve is to gunk up the front and serve as a reminder that I got something free from somewhere and so what.

Now, I have a clean front with one magnet that remains, my Red, Black, and Green one.  This one really is my favorite.  I've got a ways to go before I call this a make-over but it is a start.

Hi Cassandra,
I hear you on the de-clutter tip. And if someone feels their magnets is just free-junk causing clutter it probably is.

I love my refrigerator art. Mine doesn't fall in the free stuff category. I make it a point to purchase a magnet when I travel and from art exhibits. So instead of junk, for me, my refrigerator art are reminders of beautiful moments or subjects that inspire me.

Thanks Anu, I like your idea of magnets with meaning. Then the fridge then is a happy reminder of good times, instead of a bunch of advertising squares that I don't need.
