New Lighting

So we all (apartment dwellers) received a notice that new lighting was going in our apartments.  This would mean a saving on electricity (included in rent).  I thought this would mean every room, but it would just be three (kitchen, hallway, and bathroom).  

To tell the truth I was glad about the kitchen.  It had an old broken fan with only 2 blades, 2 bulbs that worked and the 3rd would pop and shatter, it was a mess and dangerous. 

So the new lighting is fluorescent and is pretty bright, that's great for cooking buuuuuut the fixtures are plain.  My next step is to see if there are fancier, hipper, prettier, cuter fixtures that would fit into these new lights.  Here are the before and afters.
